Exactly, but this bike set stand was very inexpensive compared to what other people pay for just a single stand for the rear or the front.

After watching the video and contacting T-Rex it appears that you are using the stand incorrectly. In the video the "support" would prevent you from removing the axle. T-Rex says that the support should be rotated 180 degrees to allow removal of the axle. Have you tried it this way?

I've removed the rear axle with out much issue, I did have to slightly move the support to allow my socket enough clearance. I haven't tried to remove the front wheel yet. I'll see if I can find some more info, because you may be right on the support.
