A tribute to the bushfires devastating Victoria and the hard working CFA heros fighting to protect us.
Support the CFA and all their hard work to contain these fires.
Special thanks to the DSE, Ninemsn (for the photos), and my buddy Kelly Zuch for helping with the song choice.

  • Amazing tribute to the heroes of our worst ever bushfires.

We've been hit hard this year and we;ve got more to come.

But you better believe that Australia WILL get through this, as one singular country, people united.

  • A beautifully done tribute & the soundtrack is SPOT ON.

I know this has been done for the CFA but to ALL volunteers I applaud you for the job you have done so far and wish you safe travels for the days ahead.

My deepest condolences to those who have lost loved ones, pets, homes.

  • Carrie Underwood is the singer. Drove me mad till I found it. I just love this voice so much, so beautiful and that's saying something from a Chrissie Hynde fan who recorded this song so perfectly.

  • I love the image in the middle of a firie, surrounded by fire with his hand in the air - the signal for Water On. No matter how bad it got, he was still fighting

  • the shot of the cow in the paddock is accros the road from my house i was puttin fires out all night

  • Yes it's a shame that Brumby would set up the Royal Commission to help shift any of the blame that could be directed towards any of his Governments management strategies towards the ones who were in the firing line dealing with the disaster on the day. CFA did a great job despite what any Commission wholly shaped by our terrible Premier says.

  • Thank you for sharing, being affected by the fires it's very difficult to watch with a dry eye. Fantastic tribute to those who helped us all

  • I wasnt back with the CFA during the 2009 Black Satuday Fires, I was still working with the Police Services. Have recently returned to F/T work with CFA and Ambulance services. To the men and women of all the VIC Emergency Services during the 2009 Bushfires, we are always in debt to you all. Amazing job and never ever let anyone put any blame on any of you. Everyone else can critisise the Chief Fire Officers but EVRYONE knows the job was handles the best way it could of being... WELL DONE

  • Thank you for this very well-made tribute. Fantastic music choice. Like many others, I lost good friends on Black Saturday and many more friends & family lost homes and everything.

Let's all hope that during this coming fire season all is calm and no fires claim lives or homes.

  • As a CFA volunteer, iI find this video very moving. It captures the spirit of community protection provided by the volunteers of the CFA. Well done!!!
