Forward Motion: Artists' Choice TRAILER

Forward Motion is a British Council project co-produced with South East Dance. This trailer previews the Artists' Choice programme of Forward Motion. High profile dance makers select their favourite British dance films. Includes Akram Khan introducing Lloyd Newson's The Cost of Living; Rosemary Butcher selecting an excerpt of Feature Film by visual artist Douglas Gordon; and Shobana Jeyasingh choosing Miranda Pennell's Tattoo.

Forward Motion is a collection of outstanding British screen dance works curated and contextualised into three programmes: Intros, Insights and Artists' Choice. A British Council project co-produced with South East Dance, Forward Motion creates a moving snapshot of Britain's rich and diverse screen dance history.
