Dust is fun, I don't know what you're going on a rant about man. It's not your millions of dollars they're investing. It's not your professional industry analysis they're following. Every release gets more interesting and prettier as well. You can hook your mouse and keyboard to your ps3 and it to a computer screen via HDMI-DVI adapter and play at your desk also. The PS3 is also a great blu-ray player,netflix box and oh has some fun games to it also. I bought one for Dust and don't regret it.

I think the reason why it is a console game only has more to do with Sony than CCP.

I think dust will take a similar market share as what Eve does. If there are not enough MERCs to fight all the wars that the corps want then good MERCs corps will be paid nicely. I have played eve some years ago and since then it has improved alot. Dust will be the same. Who cares if people with short attention span move on to something else this will be a hard core game and some corps will no doubt be role playing once they understand what is happening at a corp level.

The common thinking is they didn't want to take players away from E.V.E. to populate this game and they wanted to bring more customers in. It could also be that sony asked and paid for it to be on this console only.
