  • Very good signal for 500 kW. Ever hear the Saudi monster(2000 kW)on the same frequency? Here in the eastern US the 1 kHz heterodyne is so strong that it makes 50 kW WWKB Buffalo NY unreadable at night.

  • @DG19075 Hi Dave, yes the Saudi station is often very loud here too. When there are low A and K numbers in winter China takes it out though.

  • I had recived CRi on 558khz in St.Ives cambridgeshire at like 16.00 with only a normal metal radio antenna might be from london

  • Hey Jacob, yes, you were getting it from Spectrum radio in London on 558. They are also on 963 from Finland, 702 from Monaco, 1440 Luxembourg and China itself on 1521. Have fun tuning about!

  • how much power is CRI on 1521 Khz MW? and where is it broadcasting to, I love listening to MW AM anywhere else in the world except USA too many stations great job of pulling that in Andy Bowe

  • Hi Andy, CRI on 1521khz runs 500 thousand watts toward Russia.

  • Little bit of flutter fading(but that's typical of long distance MW reception) but perfectly listenable.

  • I also get CRI here in Koudum, The Netherlands.

    It's a very strong signal without fading. I'm using a Grundig YB400.

And keep up the good vids.

  • hey there!

the last couple of days, I was able to pick up their signal in a distance of 6000 k away from the tx with the internal ferrit antennae - without any wire or loop aerial!

  • WOOOW!!! GOOD RECEPTION!!! AWESOME!! Its possible in Hungary?

  • You can get CRI in europe every night in English on RTL Radio's 600kW 1440kHz MW outlet between 22:00-00:00UK 23:00-01:00CET with 3 European languages before that starting at 19:00UK(20:00CET).

  • Great 7600G you have
