From the wonderful mesmerizing album entitled "The Arms of Ed", sung by a Canadian musician and guitar-looping princess - formerly from England, Tamara and her all-girl band (usually) has put out some really dreamy ballads that have an inner strength and beauty. Her vocal harmonies and inflections are very hypnotic. She often collaborates with other musicians and bands (eg. Microbunny, Rheostatics, Do Say Make Think, King Cobb Steelie etc.) in all types of genres ranging from folk, rock, alternative, trip-hop lounge and in her early days even punk. Her solo music is a culmination of all her efforts proving that she can stand alone and do what she loves best so well.

  • @flash34able ..but I do agree with you on one point, war is rather pointless.. especially when western society (UK included) is trying to impose their sense of 'right & wrong' on a foreign culture. (substitute 'right & wrong' for 'money & self interest'.. in this case, they mean the same thing)

  • @flash34able You almost make the argument sound quite convincing. but I'm not entirely sure he was really into the European Unity concept.. as that wouldve meant too much diversity and mixing of cultures & ideologies. That wasnt his classic definition of 'autonomy'. The more we populate this world, the more we need to embrace this diversity because it will inevitably be all around you. Differences are good, keeps us from being complacent. For us to survive, we need to evolve our way of thinking.

  • @SomeProudCanadian Mosley was all for giving England, Scotland and Wales and the White Dominions and colonies more autonomy. The British Empire simply evolved into the British Commonwealth of Nations. He supported European Unity and seperate white and black states in Africa to preserve the races. He opposed the Brother's War and would no doubt be against the war in Afghanistan ,where hundreds of British troops and Afghan civilians have died for alien interests.

  • @flash34able I listened to your video.. his ideology is quite flawed. You think he would have created a 'Greater Britain'? by suppressing diversity? by abolishing multiculturalism? by removing our identities? the essence of our being? You think that would have created a peaceful society? Mosley mentions the loss of Canada and all the other colonies, as a result of the war. It would have happened regardless, as ALL EMPIRES are doomed to fail. America's next (it's already fact). China's the same..

  • Sir Oswald Mosley would have conquered unemployment and poverty and created a Greater Britain, preventing another war.

    HAIL MOSLEY!

  • @s1e2d3 A typical, "basic, predictable" response from someone who seems to hold the esteemed fascist Sir Oswald in high regard perhaps?.. sad, very sad...

  • Plodding, basic, predictable.

    Poor song.

  • @sirGiedion thank you!
