this is how we do it in yemen ofcourse sanna the marriage is appointed by a mother or a sister or any family member,if a guy agrees and wants the girl then they go and ask 4 the girls hand,and expecailly in yemen they go by class,like tarek he is from a relgious family he cant get married to a lady in a poor class he has to get married to his own class and if he does get married to an low class he will put a discrase within his family name thats how we do it yemen
