That's a good one. You should have gotten all up on him with the cam. As long as you approach with a smile that's good-hearted and not condescending - you're all good. You'll find many have come to be more comfortable with the cameras. 5-10 years ago if you had a cam in drum circle it could kill the whole vibe. Use descretion, maybe ask before hand, festival life is very photogenic. I've posted a few festie videos myself.
