This is a rare, completely impromptu rendition of the song "A Casual Look" performed by Daryl Jones and Kenny Sinclair, two of the original founding members of the group THE SIX TEENS, which also featured Trudy Williams, Ed Wells, Beverly Pecot, and Louisee Williams.

"A Casual Look" was originally released in 1956 on the FLIP Records label, reaching #25 on the national charts. FLIP also had some success with the release of "Louie Louie" by Richard Berry & the Pharaohs, and "Death of An Angel" by Donald Woods & the Vel-Aires.

This segment is part of an interview originally conducted for the upcoming documentary THE MEANING OF LOUIE, and is owned by LouieLouie.net/ Octalouie LLC.

As Kenny Sinclair passed away in March 2003, this video clip is a little memorial to his legacy.

  • Thanks for posting. I had not heard this since I was a little girl. I use to sing it all the time. Rip Kenny Sinclair

  • They look too young to me. They should have been at least 55 then (15 + 40)

  • Kenny seemed a little shy himself about singing "You are my guy." We miss you, Kenny.

  • Great fun. Thanks a lot.
