I went to London for a week in November 2001 and my friend fjp was there too. On Thanksgiving we met They Might Be Giants at an in-store signing and that night saw them rock the Astoria Theatre. Inbetween I bought a 5Gb 1st gen iPod on the Tottenham Court Road, I'm still pretty smug about that bit of early adopting (it still works too). The soundtrack is Radiohead's Dollars & Cents, the live version from the I Might Be Wrong live album.
My friend, fjp, has synopsisidized all events here:

This was my first video upload to YouTube in August 2006, but afetr only 333 views in 9 months I thought that might be because of the rubbish quality of the encode. So I got out the original edit on tape and redid the whole thing. It looks a lot better now, you can see Buckingham Palace and make out TMBG.
In 2004 I moved to London, so it's not so exotic anymore.

They used to. They were bought by another supermarket chain called Morrisons about 5 years ago. This is the dullest fact I know.
