Three Rivers Museum opens its 'World of William Penn Exhibition' on 18 October 2008.
Attended by Three Rivers District Council Chairman Chris Lloyd, and local MP David Gauke. The Exhibition was instigated by Bill Sharp a local man with a great interest in the life of William Penn. Also speaking at the opening were Douglas Butterfield of Jordans Meeting House (where William Penn is buried) and Robert Dimsdale whose ancestor became a Quaker with William Penn and later sailed to America.
