  • Great stuff! Check out Rock And Roll Doctor, an excellent biography of Lowell. Like his wife said "There was nothing ordinary about the man." The structures of his songs are so different. And a wicked sense of humor too! A true eccentric genius. And thank god he mangled his finger on the prop of his model airplane or he may have never taken up slide!

  • great tune

  • @jabuhrer1 : from the womb, they're numero uno...

  • @jabuhrer1 Ha ha, you're funny!! I'm just saying most people my age have probably never heard of Little Feat.

  • @donaldjacson I saw Little Feat at the Hammersmith Odeon mid seventies. They were the support act to the Doobie Brothers which was a bad move. They blew em away.

In case you didn't know Lowell George auditioned to join Frank Zappa's band. Frank told him he should go away and form his own band.

Roy Estrada who was one of the bassists for The Mothers Of Invention played on Little Feats first albums which was just called Little Feat and I think one of the best.

  • @JIF882 Oh yeah? Well I'm 4 months old and Little Feat is my favorite band. Take that, grandpa.

  • @Elidoransgar LOL, I thought with the blues but, yeah. LOL

  • Rest in Peace Lowell and Richie

  • Rock and Roll original southern rock

  • Lowell George, we all know, is awesome at slide guitar, but Paul Barrere is pretty good at slide guitar as well.

  • My favorite Little Feat song and to know that I saw them live and wnet early enough for general admission that we were able to set our beers on stage and sing and dance and the great view and sound!!!
