Released under the name "Cold Fish" in the UK and "Corect Spelling" in Canada - Released on CBS in europe under the band name SUSHI - LOVE ME TODAY was, sadly, not a hit - Shot in our little studio in Wandsworth (flooded the floor for the opening shot) - and shot with more enthusiasm than budget - Michelle McAdorey (the singer) was beautiful and game - as you will see in the vid - I include it 'cos I love the song (it was produced by Midge Ure - Ultravox / Visage - and the vid ain't at all bad! Midg Ure has produced it and he plays the synths and guitar. This is song is "leftovers" from the VISAGE project.

WOW! I never thought I'd see this video. I've loved this song since the mid 80s. The music and vocals, and the video are just brilliant - it should have been a major hit!

Is there a reason why the name of the band is different in the UK and in Canada?

I've been looking for this song for years (so you totally rock!). I've never seen the video before, but it certainly adds an extra something. Are there any other Cold Fish/Corect Spelling songs out there? (And can I get in line to spank whichever record exec screwed with the band's name?)

I have this as a two sided 45 with the B side being 'Strange Boy' the group name was Corect Spelling here in Canada. the vid is cool Michelle looks good for 17. a little naughty too showing just a wee bit of breast near the end around 3:05 not that I was looking lol

I consider this song to be the quintessential 80's track. I have 2 copies of the 45 and the 12" extended version released out of Canada. I was one of the fortunate Americans who grew up on the border of Quebec with the great radio stations CKGM and CHOM out of Montreal and CKTS out of Sherbrooke and the myriad of French language that played alot of english music. This song was played for quite a while and I beleive was at least a minor hit at least in Quebec.

Hi Ian Morse here i wrote this song and i think i came up withe the name Cold Fish sorry. This was released as a single but nobody bought it. Midge did produce this, god bless his socks but he did not play all the guitars and keyboards we did. He did play the guitar solo though, and did a much better job than i would of. Julian Lyndsey played the rather lovely piano parts. Hope you guys and girl are all well and flourishing.
