Here's a myth! When you tame 15 wolves, peaceful mobs supposedly stop spawning. This is true... if the wolves are in the area around where you want mobs to spawn. But if you make a dog house far away from your home, mobs will start spawning there again.

I liked the other two mate, very informative and busting actual myths. This one isn't really a myth though; it's a fact of the game - anything will suffocate when buried in a block and the easiest way to bury something is with the gravity-effected blocks =p
