A look at the Upper Fox River in Wisconsin as it passes through Neenah and Menasha. The industrial use of the river is explored. This is part 1 of a projected 5 part series on the river.
I do remember when the City Hall and the clock tower were one building before the building was torn down. There is an old saying for those from Neenah, that we had a natural zoo next door to Neenah, and that was ring fence Menasha and there you have a zoo..:):) Gotta love it :):)
It is so sad to see such an amazing river get destroyed by all those locks and dams. The Fox river used to have many natural rapids and I'm sure it was beautiful before all the industries moved in.
Great video, just viewed both parts,I really wish the paper companies were doing better so I didn't have to walk into work every day wondering if I had a job tomarrow. You brought back many good memories from my childhood.Love your last comment in the video. Thanks
