A foul-mouthed, ad hominem attack. Thanks for proving my point about immature, self-absorbed students.
Oh, and there is a difference between peaceful protest--which they are certainly entitled to do--and criminal trespass. But the distinction seems to escape you.
So I'll answer the question "why did they seize the building"
Because they are spoiled, immature and self-absorbed. Because they need to feel important, and this is easier, and more fun, than working hard and getting good grades.
Because they think they are NYU citizens or "community members", rather than consumers of a service, as they actually are.
Don't like NYU's policies? Go elsewhere. But please grow up and stop whining.
Of course these people don't have the courage and integrity to let people post comments without screening them first. Typical advocates of freedom--free speech for me, but not for thee!

You're an asshole to saying that.
Tuition in general is out of this world the protest for such things has to start somewhere.
