@MrBullseye61 OOPS! that's 3500 gallons of pure spring water (per week).
When I had my septic system inspected, I had my water tested also.
0 impurities and is cleaner than municipal water. When my nieghbors city water was shut off for contamination, I had plenty (I never make Kool-Aide) perhaps you might reconsider Obama care.

You would be happy with a RHINO wouldn't you?
Health care is not a right, it is not free someone has to pay I worked 27 nearly 28 years to pay for mine!
My home is paid in full.
My auto's are paid in full.
I am retired on 30 Acres, I subsidize my heating bill with oak, and hickory from my property. I do not use City sewer or water, I put in my septic system, I hand drilled my spring fed water supply, 2500 gallons of pure spring water from a natural aquifer (no chem's). Hell with Obamacare!

TX Medicaid system only will help me NOW if I get pregnant. To me, I would rather support one person, rather than them and their child they cannot afford. For me to get pregnant would be an act of stupidity/desperation due to lack of health insurance. My severe Narcolepsy with Cataplexy, Fibromyalgia, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Chronic Lymes Disease, and Diabetes, I did NOTHING to contract. Pregnancy, except for cases of Rape/Incest is self-caused. Why only help the pregnant?

The boss has spoken
medicaid is a broken system. Own a house, but you have a low income job? sorry no medicaid. You have to sell your house, then spend all the money you got for it so you have no savings... then you qualify for medicaid. Equally, if you are on medicaid, why save money when saving money will result in you losing your medicaid.
discuscatcher, i understand you situation, and its terrible... i am essentially forced to marry my GF so she can have health insurance. I want to marry.. but not by force.

Medicaid is not broken, but needs to be fixed. The only problem with government programs is how the free market exploits them. Over charging for medicines. We have been debating whether people should be allowed to buy their drugs in Canada because their cheaper, instead of calling the C.E.O's of these drug companies before congress and point blank asking them why they are charging us more.
