Had the same story in 1972. THe Jesus movement was sweeping America. Abusing drugs, was my downfall. After being born again, my life changed dramatically. I stopped drugs easily, joined the Air Force, and became very successful in life. Istill am a sinner though and deal with temptation, but now i have the Lord on my side. I hope this generation too has a rebirth, as our morals are again approacing all time lows. Love, A Brother In Christ.

With nothing but faith and truth. Get mocked and looked down upon into eyes behind scales of the world's accomplishments and reach your hands out to disease. The fact remains, Jesus left us with the anointing of the Holy Spirit. If I stand with Lonnie and ask you truthfully if you have been baptized in water? and If I stand and ask you if you have been baptized and taken up with the Holy Spirit...?

Lonnie hit this right on. His message is not what's right or wrong. Jesus didn't praise the self righteous or condemn those for losing battle after battle. He lifted the downtrodden, those very same exposed people many Christians exalt themselves above. Lonnie had that same Holy Spirit and he preached to the Christians Mathew 3.11. You'll have to humble yourself to exhaustion with every opportunity to continue to drink milk. You'll have take on the burden of Job, stand against your own lions

@ChristiansofAsia Lonnie was my uncle, very strong, being himself (homosexual) fighting the temptations I am sure you divulge in every day. He brought so many to Jesus, he had a passion and stood up to people the devil used (like you) to bring him down. Take the word Christian out of your name, go work with the devil you hypocrite.
