This is NOT an F45! It's an FP45. The locomotive in this video was built by EMD to be used for Santa Fe passenger service until Amtrak took over in 1971. Then it was repainted in the bluebonnet livery and assigned to freight service. Twenty years later, it was reborn in the warbonnet paint and joined the Super Fleet roster. Sadly, only a few now exist in museums and the rest have been scrapped.

See the problem with these newer sound DCC units is they are multi function. How many functions does the Bachmann Easy Command have? You will likely be able to use the bell and horn and maybe a few other functions but unless you have a multi function DCC system you will not be able to access all of the features of these decoders. This is why I went with the MRC Prodigy Advance 2 it has 28 functions whereas most systems only have 13-16 functions. You won't know until you try on out on your layout
-
why dont you guys run some ho scale trains on the on the other layout in the back of the store

Heres a question ive been waiting to be answered by so many people, will this type of deocoder work with a Ez-Comand Layout?
@originalgrump100 That was grumpy and uncalled for. Thumbs down.
