This was a wonderful concept album. The whole thing was well arranged and JB performed very well. I think some of his "conscious" albums or songs need to be re-assessed as the classics they are.

One of the most unusual and best James Brown songs of all time! Only the Godfather could take an old country standard like this and transform it to something completely different. It's almost a whole new song! The bridge from 0:50 to 1:06 is wonderfully funky and the different bridge from 1:26 to 1:55 is one of the greatest pieces of music I have ever heard.
