Greg Fleming is a singer/songwriter/ from Auck land, New Zealand.
'Codeine Road' was a single by Greg Fleming & The Trains, released in May 1994 on Lost Records (an off shoot of Kane Massey's Deepgrooves label).
The song was a reworked version of the album track which appeared on Greg's debut album "Ghosts Are White", released in 1993.
Produced and reworked by Anthony Ioasa who produced several tracks for Deepgrooves artists including his own group Grace.
The 'Codeine Road' video was directed by Bruce Sheridan of Stratford Productions and shot along Auckland's Karangahape Road, a busy mix of cafes, bars and sex shops. Greg is filmed singing with some of the regular street people of the area. Also featured are members of the Trains band at the time - drummer Ricky McShane, Bass player Cameron Miller and guitarist John Segovia.
'Codeine Road' (both the single and album versions) is available on Greg Fleming's album "Taken" released June 21st, 2010.
