Specijalna Jedinica Policije SJP

Special Police Unit (SPU for short) is the basic organizational unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Serbian, and it certainly is among the most elite police unit in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Engages in the order of the Minister and Director of Police.
Is designed to perform special tasks and duties in order to provide maximum security for citizens and their property, through the support of regular police forces in carrying out police operations which are outside of their professional qualifications and training, particularly, it relates to the fight against terrorism at the tactical level, resolve hostage crisis, acknowledges assistance in the Criminal Police arrest dangerous criminals and criminal groups, especially in situations where it is expected to resist with a firearm.
