continued So that he could raise the social and political awareness of the people in order to incorporate the otherwise uninvolved segement of the population herders, farmers etc. Issayas was a forward thinker that devised a strategy of guerilla warfare that encompassed all the people regardless of ethnicity, wealth, or religion. Thats why he said he wanted to dissolve the backwards sentiments that divise a people and bring them together for a common cause.

Listen at 0:07 he talks about "abolishing tribal religious and other backward sentiments..." Eritrean Christians and even decent Muslims can't say "we weren't warned." This guy is a mirror image of Dictator avowed atheist and Commie Lt. col. Mengistu H. Mariam. Look at what this despot is doing to Eritrean Christians right now.

isais afewerki is a hero!!! The puppets in Ethiopia should take him as an example, else Ethiopia will be there where she is now, in the coming 50-100 years. Eritrea is small but has big, brave, bold, white hearted and pride sons. Else what you hookers think how Eritrea kicked your stinky as$ out there. oy agames, come to your sense and represent your peoples interest like PIA. To mess with Eritrea is like to knock the hells door. Be wise from the past!!!!

"By logic, the Nation of Eritrea should not exist. The secessionist province's independence fighters ought never to have defeated Ethiopia in their 30-year-long struggle. They were outmanned, outgunned, abandoned or betrayed by every ally; their cause was hopeless. They won by force of character, a unity and determination so steely not all the modern armaments, super power support or economic superiority of Ethiopia could withstand it, building Eritrea, from scratch.

Asefaw-ante-Fesam,
Ende Issaias Afeworki, JEGNINET kawekibet, kolet Kaleh, le-Emmama-Ethiopia, min-serahlat?
Kejignaw Anbessa Issaias Afewerki
Dimaa....If you would stop and listen to the whole statement as opposed to just highlighting what you want to hear (and taking it out of context). You would see that Wedi Afewerki was ahead of his time. He was saying that he wanted to remove the barriers that created division amongst the people.

Please read the 3rd statement first and go up...........Part IIIAnd you know what, thats exactly how Barack won this election. He said there are no red states or blue there are the United States of America. Great leaders unify and recognize the strength in diversity..........
