Live at Act IV 2002 (http://www.act4.net ), the 2nd Act IV benefit show at Metro. This is the opening song by the first band of the night, Semi-Automatic Love Slave. It's of course a cover of The Smashing Pumpkins song, "Tonight, Tonight". On an interesting note, the lead guitarist, Nick was lead singer for D'arcy (the band) at the first Act IV show.

  • It's good..but the music is so loud I can't even hear the singer.

  • Yeah, Metro was having problems with their monitors that night, so I will notice that it gets a little bit better as the performance goes on. Same with some of the other performances during the show.

  • Thanks for the comment. But the video was posted by Act 4, not Semi-Automatic Slave, who performed the song. They are no longer together unfortunately. SALS and 6 other bands played at the Act IV 2002 SP benefit concert at Metro, that I helped organize.

  • this is godawful. music wasn't bad but the vocals are HORRIBLE

  • Excellent cover. The singer had a perfect voice for the spirit of the song

  • That's quite a good cover. I prefer the Pumpkins' one, but it's very well played.

  • Pretty nice job. Your singer should really belt some of those parts out there, though. She seemed a little timid.
