im buying one from ebay... i dont have the sidekick data plan this will be my first sidekick! will i still be able to put music from my computer onto it if i dont have the data plan?

Just FYI there is no such thing as silver plate headphones, the standard 3.5 mm jack is always nickel plated. Gold is more conductive than nickel of course, but actually Silver, real silver is quite a bit better than gold in conductivity and is actually cheaper than gold, so why they don't use real silver is beyond me, maybe because of tarnishing, but silver is more conductive.
