  • I see the seeds of Capoeira, African American Tap dance, Lindy Hopy, Breakdancing, and much more in this... There's no question!

I'm so happy to be born of such an amazing people.

  • @SuperTosaAsian Because this ethnic group (Esan) have done this for as long as anybody can remember. So we are within our rights to say that it is (may be) the origin of this extreme form of acrobatic displays. How? because our people never had prior contact with the Chinese or other Asians before this was part of our cultural/traditional dance resume.

  • These guys must be warriors! Their moves are incredible and so fluid. Origin of tap dance and break dance right here! Centre of the world: Africa!

  • @TheWhiteshephard Egbabonelimwin means clapping for the spirits. In this vein, when the spirits(masquerades) come out, we should all clap and appreciate what they do. This is both as spiritual as it's physical.

  • Inviting y'all to come to Africa, Nigeria, Edo state and see these performers live to believe it (for the doubting thomases) for yourselves.

  • We Africans all over the world now need a family reunion. We will reclame our greatness only thereafter. We will saellall that Africa has to offer. The cultural practices we seek outside reside inside Africa, where they began.
