This is the official video from http://www.apple.com/ipad , presenting the all-new Apple Ipad which was unveiled on the 27th January 2010. I am very interested to hear what you think of this new "allegedly" revolutionary device and its potential uses or appeal.

That is, flat out false advertising. Why do people insist on camping out in front of stores to by an upsized iPod touch/iPhone when a Windows-based netbook laptop can do so much more with so much more software and hardware? IT DOESN'T SUPPORT FLASH? What illegal, hallucinogenic drugs are these people on??

499 is nothing for an ipad, the technology in this thing is incredible, and SO many think it's Expensive, 499.. pff, i could give that away... Live with it, u cant pay 5 bucks and expect to get something Good in return. I'm getting the Ipad As soon as it's Available.... flash... will come later, Custom software perhaps? ;)

That's usually called jailbraking. Although I have nothing against it. I'd jailbrake my phone/pad immediately if i had one... Cheers!
