Nice combines good to see some old lads still in use

the o'l 860 was a great combine could keep up better than a 9600 John Deere

whats sad is the new combines can take up to three of those combines in one swath. Poor old equipment

The feeder house that massey had was In my opinion superior... Not much maintanance needed compared to a feeder chain. when the rubber paddels get to worn they are easy to replace. A bit time cosuming, but not as much as a rattle rake... I don't even take the header off to do that...

Man i'd have to have the radio going or something, i remember many a long night almost falling asleep to the low purr of the engine, and alot of caffeen and standing up to strech my legs to keep form falling asleep.

Those are some gigantic straw windrows. Hope the baler can handle them. No need to run the merger or rake.
