I think tarquini was trying to get past the bmw by trying to shock him.

@altroval F1 is kinda boring anyway. They hold F1 way back and its a shame. We can go much faster than those cars can go. The Porsche 917/30 could hit over 260 mph and had a motor that went from 1100 to 1580 hp.

@altroval And Wtcc too... He has won the championship this year, despite being a "middle age bold man", as Clarkson with irony called him in a Top Gear episode (a Maserati test, Tarquini is one of the manufactor test-driver).

A shame he never got a proper shot with a good F1 team...but F1's loss was the BTCC's gain.
