5 Litre Nano Tank

My new 5 litre nano tank, designed for a few very small fish, shrimp or just plants. I am currently using it to hold my small Molly fry until they are big enough to go into the 125 Litre community tank. Otherwise they get eaten by the Spanner Barbs. T

The tank features a fairly powerful unbranded filter with biological, mechanical and chemical filtration. A small heater set at 24 degrees centigrade also accommodates the tank. The lighting is fairly simple, with a fluorescent bulb, but a switch activates a small blue led to use at night to act as moonlight shimmering down onto the fish.

There are currently 17 Molly fry in the nano tank, soon to be released into a larger aquarium. A few snails also inhabit the tank.

@crystalclearwolf This tank was really just a temporary home for smaller fish, so I wanted it to be easy to maintain. Plastic plants seemed the best option, but if I had the time, live plants probably would have looked better. Chris.

Those mollies look great. At the start I thought the Pleco was in your 5 litre! I almost had a heart attack, lol! Liked.
