On Tuesday August 5 we reconvened at the field behind the Station 41 fire department in Waverley NS to shoot the second video in the trilogy, United Breaks Guitars: Song 2. Once again, everyone volunteered their time and talent to produce an outstanding video; however, Song 2 was a much bigger production than United Breaks Guitars. In addition to the main roles, we had nearly 100 extras in the cast and in order to say everything we wanted to say with the video, we required a broken guitar, an imitation broken guitar, a 40 foot high scissor lift, a limousine (complete with secret service agents), one genuine imitation space capsule, a space suit, a tuba, 3 suits of German Lederhosen, a canoe, one white panel van and a woman willing to wear tights and a big dollar sign.

if UBG1 lacks balls as you say knocked you and united better hope dave never writes a ballsy song cos then united would be out of business and you would have nothing to complain about , unless of course you complain about the time spent in line you would be doing while waiting for the govnment dole cheque. As for ineffective, advertising media would pay big bucks to get six million people to watch a commercial that cost less than two hundred dollars to produce, your comments fall flat as usual
Dave's part of history all right: the history of unoriginal songs and cheesy media gimmicks. Makes me boil over in envy. If I were him I'd be ashamed of myself... middle aged and known best for publicizing his ineffective abilities in dealing with customer service reps. Next time hire a lawyer, Dave. And for God's sakes, write a song with some balls.
Clever response to customer service failures. Unfortunately many customer service organizations pay more attention to their employers because their companies are not as committed to customer interests as they should be. I was pleased to see United embracing this situation as a learning experience. Of course we can always do better. A year of inattention is a failure attributed to United's disinterest.
The market in action! Companies really have to clean up their act or they end up on youtube and lose a lot of business. And all this for $3000...! Nice going United.
