Buddy is our six month old miniature wire haired dachshund. He just learned to fetch and just can't get enough!

your dog may be mini schnauzer/mini dachshund mix?? i have a dog that i would describe exactly the same as yours. she is a mini dachshund in personality to a tee. physically though the only difference would be that her muzzle is shorter than the typical dachshund face. but whatever she is,she is a riot and i love her :-) i say schnauzer by the way b/c her mouth shape most resemble theirs.

Our wiener dog Fritz looks like a exact replica. Born in December 1995 he's a little slower and his eyes are a little covered over with cataracs but he still does the same thing. After 14 years my wife and I still think the best looking dog with character in their face is a wire haired dachshund. Take care, Phil & Roberta Patterson

He's adorable! We have a mini wire haired pie bald colored dachshund! He's hilarious! Don't know where we'd be without him! He's a rescue dog! I got him at 1 from a rescue Vet. that rescued him from a pet store in Albany NY. He is an amazing little guy and I cannot imagine what he went through! I would LOVE to get my hands on who ever owned the place! But, I am happy we have him now! :)God love this breed! :)

Can someone help me?

I think my dog is a wired haired dachshund mix.

He has that wire haired coat, same colors, his legs are short but not AS short as a dachshund, he has a bold attitude, and his snout is just a teeny tiny bit shorter.

he seems like a dachshund mix because all the terriers i look up dont look like him. Any help?
