@TheHellboy619 I know this is a VERY long comment but i just wanted to help you with all the steps :) (I should've sent a private message instead lol) Anyways, you also don't want it to be near the cage when you get it out because then it will get USE to the cage and you don't want that or otherwise it will fly off your hand and go back to the cage. Unless it wants food or its tired let it inside for a little and you can take it out later or the day after. Do this daily. Hope this helped :) haha

@TheHellboy619 READ THE COMMENT WAAY BELOW FIRST(THE 2ND ONE BELOW THIS ONE)---Try taking it out with your hand real smooth and slow. It may or may not jump back into the cage. If it does jump back into the cage, just repeat that until it will get out. When it DOES get out and your wondering wher eyou should put your bird, try putting it someplace with nothing cooking(kitchen) or wires(computer or tv) so just set it on your arm while u do things or set it on a perch-like object. Hope this helps :)

@TheHellboy619 READ COMMENT BELOW FIRST)-once it's use to that, you can get a perch & try to get them to sit on it. Then move your finger more closer to the edge so when it gets on the perch,it will also be sitting on your finger. After you repeat that for a couple of days,or until it gets use to your hand, you can put your hand under your birds belly and say,"up" while you push your fnger onto its belly. It will eventaully sit on your finger. Repeaeat that so it learns. After, try taking it out-

@TheHellboy619 When you get a new bird you need to let it alone for about 2 days so it can adjust to your new home. After that, just try to put your hand inside the cage. If your bird freaks out don't move your hand just keep it there. If your bird wants to bite your hand, you should put it on the cage floor. Keep repeating this till its use to your hand. After.take their food away for like 3 or 2 hours and when your bird is hungry.put food on your hand & it will eventually eat it. Once its use-

@MovieNature65 Have you tried feeding your bird a treat through the bars of the cage? That way your bird can approach the treat on his/her own and develop trust before you put your hand inside the cage.

@iliruzanna94 If the bird is afraid of being out of the cage, he may try to fly back to it. When you are bringing your bird out of the cage, make sure it's in an open area where they can fly or flap their wings if they need to. If they have a habit of flying into things, it may be a safer choice to clip their wings until they develop trust both in and out of the cage.
