Ask and ye shall receive:

Game: Odin Sphere
System: Playstation 2
Developer: Vanillaware
Publisher: Atlus

Yeah, I finally decided that this will be my side LP -- the demand was too high for it and it is one of my favorite games. To differentiate from the other Odin Sphere walkthroughs, this will be part walkthrough, part commentary. I'll probably have big spurts of Odin Sphere LPs, then go quiet for a bit, then BAM!

As for what this game is, it's a beat-'em up sidescrolling (well, spherescrolling) action RPG. It's the spiritual successor to Vanillaware's game Princess Crown...and it's AWESOME.

I was going to do this whole sexy montage of clips from the game, but pinnacle studio 12 crashed so many times that I took the mantra that one of my kindergarten students taught me.

"You get what you get, and you don't throw a fit!"

This became my class motto, by the way.

Enjoy!

  • I loved odin sphere despite the major repetition. It's not for everyone, but it's great for those who look past the flaws. Muramasa is coming soon as well so I look forward to that. :)
