rsx type-s vs. prelude type-s

no it's a prelude with a redtop H22a jdm motor from japan with cold air header exhaust fadinza flywheel the rsx is a type-s with just a cold air

Yup h22a 4th gen prelude is faster then rsx type s stock.

i used to have 96 h22a1 with full bolt-ons and raced my buddys 02 rsx-s with same bolt-ons and i smoked him at least 3 cars... ive driven his car and the torque on his and mine are like day n night....due to the liter difference ...h22 ftw! but we cant say if it was swaps in a hatch..

My last car was a 92 Prelude with a blacktop JDM H22A with CAI and exhaust... Now I drive an 02 RSX-S. Their power is close but I guess this kind of confirms that the 'lude was faster.

@karsseboomh22 Now that i can agree with 100%! I'm pretty sure my buddy didn't get that type S h22a with 220hp, but he has crazy built that thing since the swap. His last dyno numbers where 286HP with 230ish +/- TQ N/A strait sickness.

@BoogieMain17 no the base jdm h22 put down 200hp now they made a special model called the type s in japan which put down 220 hp and 163 lbs...very few people have the real type s h22 and that alone will beat a stock rsx if he had just but the normal jdm h22 with 200hp and abolt-ons i dont think he would have won or it would have been very close.

@karsseboomh22 No the reason he beat the RSX "type S" is because he has that H22a JDM swap plus bolt on's vs a completely Stock RSX type S. Its all about money and power to weight. You can make any car beat any car as long as you got the cash. Got it??? lol :) K series > H or B series all day. Its called technology.......

@BoogieMain17 no the resaon why he beat the rsx is becuase it has the jdm h22 type s swap in there and it puts down 220hp 163lbs un like most prelude which olny have 200hp get it?

@eg2171 i think the reason most people are mad is because of the k20+rsx combo should have won the race due to it being lighter weight resulting in better power to weight. Like you where saying down to the gear box on the k20 is quicker with better gear ratios. Plus i think this guy is lying about his car cause my little k20a3 puts u a helluva better fight than that guys "type s" did

@chefalan23 mine is a 95 with h22a1 162,xxx on the clock and it doesnt even smoke thats like the combined milage of 5 gs-t eclipses lol u cant even compare those 2 cars
