  • I wonder where you can find a teacher because everything I've heard in these videos and about zen is what I've been looking for for years.....

  • Most people think of meditation as relaxation, or have a very stereotypical viewpoint of what it actually does. Mediation is practiced by people across the globe - yes, it is true. There was even an image of Cernunnos (Horned God, NOT satan) found in Gaul portraying him sitting in a lotus position.

Meditation is the way of reaching inner calm and balance. It is our way of connecting to Spirit, or whoever we refer to the Divine.

  • If you had an fMRI image of a person in meditation, it would look spectacular. The amount of neural activity is astounding!

And besides, if everyone in the world practiced meditation (at least once a day), there would be little to no war.

  • without suffering and pain, life wouldn't be what it is. Instead of running away from your pain you should be joyfull of your pain. Not mindless. Zen is full of itself, running away from the world into your mind. I know that zen renounces all sutras yet calls itself Budhism...? How is that possible?

thats "Jizo Bodhisattva" a very interesting read from the little I could read from amazon's website he was a guardian for travelers too, its mostly for grieving parents I gather.

  • a good buddhist author. her books are highly reccommended

  • Dear Master, thank you for your shared lessons. I have read quite lots about Buddhism but still not clear in some points, example, Buddha is believed to reach his enlightenment for helping human beings overcome their sufferings and poverty from the circle of being reborn, right? If so, what do sufferings and poverty here mean? And how can human beings be helped to solve those problem? Please explain me. Thank you.

  • agree

  • she looks very happy and at peace.

  • the greatest teacher in life is experience and that is something no one can teach you. Teacher are there for guidance but words can never truly gap a bridge between two human minds and their thoughts that are conceived
