Doesn't even compare to Shirley Bassey singing this.

Enjoyed this version. I presume Connie was wearing a gold gown that evening.

@Shrinksjp I do like Bassey, but I enjoy her more with the visual as opposed to simply listening to her recordings.

@toucheturtle300 This is a song that many people do not like by anyone. What makes Shirley's version interesting is the ocer-the-top theatrical display that she attributes to it. This is not a negative comment. It is just Shirley's style and what you come to expect from her. Many times, though, the theatrics dominate the singing.

@toucheturtle300 Both Connie and Shirley are extremely talented. They are jsut different types of singers. Shirley can be way over the top at times.

The key is the last note.
Sorry Connie, you just can't do it.

Great verson by the Goddess Connie!

@BronzeVenus She is a great singer, one of the greats in entertainment.

Personally, I prefer the Muppet Show version.
What is this mess??? Connie Francis is a very pleasant singer when she stays in her own lane. "Goldfinger" is most assuredly not her lane.
