It's early morning & the sun is slowly coming out. Chris is walking through a forest & at the end of the song, he reaches a tall cliff, he stands on the edge & shouts out to his love.

"All that noise, I'm waking up. All that space I'm taking", is Chris mentally escaping into the past & the white shadows are moving images in his head from his childhood, like a negative film flashhback.
