Super Street Fighter 4 Finals [AWA - Balrog/E.Honda Vs. Rose]

So, since most of the con was mediocre, I spent a vast majority of my time watching the SSF4 tournament. It ran a fair bit longer than originally expected, but that was better for me in the long run. Early in the fights, I caught a pretty amazing Rose player, and instinctively claimed that he was going to take first place.

For the better part of the show, it was a pretty lackluster run. Some good players, a bunch of Blanka's, Balrog's, and Vipers. A lot of my favorites got knocked out pretty late in, but put up excellent fights. A Makoto player for instance, got knocked out by the guy who came in second's E.Honda. Both Abel's I was rooting for got taken out mostly due to nerves, apparently. Dudley got in pretty far being getting taken down, but the story of the night was that there were far too many fucking Balrog's and Blanka's. When that Rose player showed up, every fight she was in I was cackling at how badly she dominated. Nearly freaked out near the end of the second run, that Honda made one hell of a comeback, but got deadstopped in the final round. Suffice to say, that was the highlight of my con experience up here so far.
