i throw very similar to you--two hands coming up the sides! i haven't seen too many people do it. of course my pieces are shorter. love the long neck--i'll try a taller long neck piece tonight in class. love the songs too.

hey-im having the same problems but my teacher told me a few tips to help-
when it goes offcentre pin off the top then, with your left hand, pinch the neck near the top ever so slightly with your thumb and index finger and at the same time push ever so slighty down on the rim with your left index finger-try this and see if it works, the other thing is too keep practicing it. dont give up! hope this helps xx

I have trouble throwing bottles and keeping the top on center because either the neck will go off center
or just under the base of the neck will become
off
I try to work slowly to prevent this however?
nothing seems to work
any suggestions
