Five anti-coal coalition partners joined to gather enough signatures to present a mile long petition to the Dominion Virginia Power company encouraging them to stop their plans to build a new coal-fired power plant in southwest Virginia and invest in alternative sources of energy instead.

  • with todays tecnology why are we still destroying the environment? Think how many green collar jobs could be created if we switch to green power

  • fucking dumb video. i dont see all you ungrateful idiots living in the woods with no power. why not petition to the government to allow nuclear power plants? i work for dominion and we would HAPPILY convert more power to nuclear, which is virtually pollutant free. we just cant because of the government. and the supply is lower than the demand for energy right now. theres no choice. and that was a good point about the paper. what a bunch of fucking hypocrites you are.

  • How many trees did it take for that petition? From the way it is printed, I believe you could have used about 25%.
