Some PCP;s are quite noisy & when hunting noise is one thing you want to avoid.

Maybe your right about air guns being pea shooters but please do remember sometimes you don't use a sledge hammer to crack a nut, air rifles are very capaple guns for many situations. I have shotguns, 22lr HMR & a couple of air rifles, sometimes the air rifle is the tool for the job & a silencer makes it a better tool.

In the USA your can legally make your own Suppressor as long as you pay the $200 tax stamp to the ATF. They are not dangerous devices they are inanimate objects it's the people using them that would make something dangerous. A ball point pen can be a dangerous weapon if in the hands of a criminal that wants to do bodily harm. A car is also a dangerous weapon and is used to kill people thousands of times a year and yet people are taught how to make and use them all the time.
