Sure they did. The police always tell people to not wear seatbelts. Why don't you ask the fire department how many people they have to scrape off the road because they weren't wearing seatbelts. If the seatbelt would have done that much damage then he was probably speeding. At that speed if he was not wearing a seatbelt he most likely would have gone through his windshield.

Theres a TINY amount of cases where people died because they were held in place by a damaged seatbelt anchorage --like in a fire or underwater. BUT--the vast majority of road accidents WITH the belt in place saved peoples lives. JUST UNDENIABLE FACTS. Thats why this add has won international awards the world over. There are always going to be exceptions. Just drive your car head-on into a wall at 30mph without your belt, and report back here---

Was his seat belt made of razor wire or something? A standard cloth seatbelt won't slit a throat no matter the speed, although it could crush a throat if the seatbelt is worn incorrectly.

cool my friend would be dead if he DID wear a seat-belt the police, fire-dept., etc even told him.

they told him that if he was his ribs and lungs would be crushed not to mention his throat slit so yea I don't give a fuck what they think
