Tough battle, I played Lith. too and I won some battles in similar way (or with cav. arch.). But I think that the AI of this game is sometimes really dull. If the Teutons just tried to fully attack and pin you to your walls or take the gate with fast cavalry as your army runs through and then just take a walk to the plaza. Half way attack and than run back to become a food for archers shooting in the backs..WTF? This game's concept is totally perfect. I really love it. But it's full arrears.

@gleke When I started to play teutonic campaign I couldnt win at all. Slowly and gradually Teutons were conquering my lands. The key to defeat them is missle cavalry. Wisely used they can outnumber enemy forces. Before U order them to charge make sure enemies spread out pursuing Yr forces. So U can concentrate couple of units against 1. Then U attack another one. I agree concept is perfect.

if u want to win easily against teotonic order just take the most powerful troops in teh Lith army which are the light cav and then while rounding up they're heavy infantry and spearmen just smash into them with your heavy cav thats if u have no infantry. If your good enough u can beat an army with losts of spearmen with just cav and have minimal losses. ^^

couldnt you just put your archers on the wall burnt the battering ram and then while they pushed up closer more fire arrows to the other things if they come within half archer range send out calvary to disrupt their siege weapon movement?
