Boderline hit in a game between the Buffalo Sabres and Chicago Blackhawks on Monday, October 11th, 2010 at the HSBC Arena in Buffalo, New York.
The National Hockey League has suspended Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Niklas Hjalmarsson two games
41.3 Major Penalty -- The Referee, at his discretion, may assess a major penalty, based on the degree of violence of the impact with the boards, to a player guilty of boarding an opponent (see 41.5).
41.5 Game Misconduct Penalty - When a major penalty is imposed under this rule for a foul resulting in an injury to the face or head of an opponent, a game misconduct shall be imposed.

He was also ummm let's see here BOARDING!!!!! Let's actual use our heads here. You cannot in any type of hockey take a run at an unsuspecting player. He also came from the blue line which is targeting a player and it not hip to hip he clipped him in the back of the shoulder. And If the hit was so clean then why did he get suspended?
