go on dell and price it out. and yes it can play all the latest games. currently playing L4D without problem. Settings around Med-High on graphics.  Consider desktop unless you REALLY need to travel. You'll get more bang for your buck. But this is a good laptop... heavy 14 lbs

u could get this with 8 GB ram and 2 video cards NVIDA 1 GB video memory each with a phys x card, 2.8 ghz core r duo extreme processor, and a 256 GB solid state drive. imagine playing Chrysis, WOW or GTA IV with a system like that.
