If you play FF for the gameplay then yes it was, but if you play it for the story FFXIII actually had a pretty solid one. Personally, I play Final Fantasy games for the story, so I actually enjoyed XIII though not as much as X

Well I disagree with what you said about 13, but FFX is my all-time favorite game, so maybe I just have a soft spot for the whole series. Either way we can agree that 10 was incredible.

For me FF7 and FFX had an incredibly solid and strong storyline, FFXIII felt to me like they were just spit balling old scrapped creative ideas and slapping weird names on them.

FFXI was the first one of the FF-Series which got officially produced by Square ENIX. 1-10 were all made by Squaresoft, FFVIII included.

I agree- I enjoyed 12 a bit, still haven't got through 13, but they definitely arent as good as they used to be.

I enjoyed 12....but definitely not as much as 10 and 7. Ten tops it for me.

Squaresoft merged with Enix because of financial problems Squaresoft has. Enix took advantage of that problem and made a deal to merge the two companies together to become Square Enix.

Same here my friend. I played FFXIII for several hours and still couldn't get into it. I was bored stiff..

I can remember skipping school some days and staying up till 3am just to play FFX, I was immersed in the gameplay and story.. FFXIII, pfft...
