@metalsnake27 Not really, no. Square merged with Enix at some point, and while the designers are mostly from Square's side, Enix are the ones who decide on the story and characters. That's how it was when they first merged, anyway. Just keep in mind that the first game Square Enix decided to make was FFX-2, which was not particularly good. And they haven't really stepped up their game since, either.

Square Enix did not make FFX. They will remake it (as that is all Square Enix is good for) for the PS3, but they did not create the original game; that was Square (or Square Soft.)
