HP fanfic trailer - Blue Raven, Red Lion, Black Dog

Please, read first.

This is a trailer for my HP fanfic 'Blue Raven, Red Lion, Black Dog'. It is the first novel in the Raven Chronicles which center on Judy Byrne (Sirius' daughter). The first novel parallels the events of 'Prisoner of Azkaban'.

Summary:
Judy Byrne is about to start her 6th year at Hogwarts, but as her father escapes from Azkaban everything changes. While she is forced to keep her true identity a secret from her best friends Willow Waters and the Weasley twins, the only two people at Hogwarts who do know who she really is (Dumbledore and Lupin) start to distrust her when Sirius is sighted on Hogwarts' grounds. What was supposed to be another fun year at Hogwarts, soon turns out to be Judy's loneliest schoolyear ever. As Judy struggles with the choices which Sirius' escape forces her to make, there are also still classes to attend, Dementors to deal with and a certain Weasley she just can't get out of her head. To top it all, Judy discovers she has inherited her mother's gift. A gift she chooses to fight rather than to accept. A choice which may demand a higher price than she is able to pay...

PS I finished this vid over a year ago with Windows Movie Maker, but there were bits with subtitles in it that I just couldn't fix. Now that I have Sony Vega, and have learned the basics, I've finally been able to resize fragments and fix the subtitle problem. There may be a few glitches here and there, but I'm quite pleased with how this vid turned out and I hope you will be too :).

I particularly like the music you've put into it. It fits the scenes and story perfectly, from what I've just watched, and my particularly favorite part was when you matched Sirius' head turn with the crescendo in the music. Great work!

I've just started reaing the story and have enjoyed it so far. I really enjoyed this video, it is one of the best fanfic videos out there. I was wondering about the song, has it been in any movies because it sounds very familiar but the name isn't.

It's on the soundtrack of the movie 'The Island' (with Ewan McGregor). I think it's been used in several fanfic trailers on Youtube, may be that's why it sounds familiar?

Unfortunately I haven't been able to update the fic in over a year, but I'm currently working on the next chapter and hope to update soon. I hope you enjoy reading the story!

This is truly one of the best fanfiction trailers I've ever seen. I'm away to read it now instead of doing my history essay. Damn procrastination.
