Amo a musica Brasileira, mesmo sendo espanhol, nasci espanhol, mas com coraçao Brasileiro. Tom jobim, joao gilberto, gal costa, caetano, elis regina, luiz bonfá, lulu santos, etc etc, eu amo toda a musica do brasil!! Algum dia vou morar no brasil!

This is pure music! no gimics, in a time and place when you didn't need a half naked super made up woman dancing to an atrociously loud computierized beat and "singing" provocative lyrics to catch anyones attention. True music and talent go beyond the superficial they reach your heart and live within you.

I remember being about...hm 13 when I first heard Chega de Saudade, and was completely blown away--I still have that same feeling and it always brings a smile. For those new to Bossa Nova, check out Antônio Carlos Jobim, Laurindo Almeida, Sergio Mendes, Jorge Ben, etc.(sorry, char. limit) and even some of Herbie Mann and Stan Getz's ventures into it (you'll be glad you did). And Bossa Nova isn't really a thing that leaves you either, it still influences the way I look on music and well...life.
