Pearson recently made a pledge to the Global Partnership for
Education, an initiative working in 46 partner countries to improve
access and quality to education that has already helped more than 19
million children go to school for the first time.
I had the honor to speak at the Partnership's "Replenishment
Conference," attended by the Directors General of UNESCO, the World
Bank, and Action Aid. In the short video linked here:
( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gzvjxU6ke30), I've summarized a
measure of the commitment made by scores of education ministers committed
to improving national education systems to facilitate
access to high quality education for all.
